    Comments Regarding the NYC Workforce Investment Board's Draft Three-Year Local Plan
    Recommendations include creating affiliate One Stops and other alternatives to "scale up" services; develop targeted strategies to serve people with employment barriers; identify additional resources to pay for employment, training and job readiness services; focus on youth; and others.

    August 2003
    Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Reauthorization Recommendations
    Recommendations include ensuring adequate funding for the workforce development system; that training and education are accessible so that job seekers can meet the needs of employers; that youth are adequately served; and more.

    June 30, 2002
    Comments on Workforce Investment Act Reauthorization — Submitted to U.S. DOL, Employment and Training Administration
    Recommendations include increasing local flexibility to implement the law, modifying performance measures and streamlining reporting requirements, and easing income eligibility for youth services.
